We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Webtoon Character Design and Name Illustrator for a Japan-based start-up company, Tokyo Toon. The company is founded by ex-Googlers and we aim to distribute content worldwide, including in the US, Japan, and other Western countries 🙂

Our team is composed of collaborative, passionate, and respectful illustrators from the Philippines and Japan, and as we grow, we will be more diverse and we will welcome illustrators from other countries.
As we work, we collaborate and work as a team. We promote brainstorming and encourage our illustrators to share their ideas, allowing them to try something new and discover their best skills. -About this job:
The primary responsibility of this role is to create high-quality characters based on text-based character design instructions and make captivating storyboards by providing rough sketches using CLIP STUDIO based on the provided stories.
1. Expected Ability for Quality
Ability to make captivating storyboards and characters for Webtoon based on provided text-based stories. Ability to create high-quality characters for Webtoon based on text-based character design instructions. Style of the work expected: Boys Love Webtoon
2. Expected Ability for Timely Delivery
Work closely with the creation team to ensure consistency of each work's style and tone.
Meet project deadlines and ensure the job is completed on time. Example: 60 Panels is expected to be done in 2-3 days.
3. Expected Ability for Team Communication
As we are a group of collaborators, we expect a timely response to the inquiries during hours. This will help the team in determining the next steps needed in the production process and be able to adapt to changes and input revisions requested.

-Requirements:
Passionate about Webtoons, manga, and Japanese culture.
Open to drawing adult scenes for Boys Love webtoons
At least 20-29 years old
A team player and likes personal growth
Understanding Webtoon storyboarding and allocating panels to create captivating and seamless storyboards based on provided stories.
Good English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
