SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Analyze budgets and create expense reports.
• Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns.
• Post business transactions, process invoices, and record receipts.
• Research and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Review and process reimbursements.
• Prepare balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with audits and testing accounting systems for accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Monitor financial transactions and reports.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Secure financial information by completing data backups.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• MUST HAVE DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING OR QUICKBOOKS PRO ADVISOR CERTIFIED
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• In-depth understanding of GAAP.
• Critical thinker with analytical skills.
• Good with numbers and figures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.
• Strong ethical code and understanding of confidentiality.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
