Hi, I run a content creation agency. We create short form videos, carousels, quote images, tweets, and other social media content for our clients. I've been running this business for 4 years and I have some great freelancers, but now I'm ready for some permanent team members who can be committed to the company and help take it to the next level.
I do one hour interviews with my clients, and I'm looking for someone who can pull 30-60 second clips from the raw recording.
I want to find someone who is great at spotting hooks. It's not always obvious where the clip starts and ends, so you need to be able to recognize, "Oh! That's the most attention grabbing part of this clip, so I'll put that at the beginning." You might need to cut out tangents, or reorder certain pieces, or just generally piece together a concept that stands on its own as a punchy video.
I'm also looking for someone who...
- can turn around projects in a timely manner
- is organized so we can manage multiple projects and once and do revisions
- communicates well
- is friendly to work with!
If you'd like to apply, please share examples of videos you've made. I don't need to see examples of captions and b-roll and animations and that kind of editing. I already have some great animators. I'm specifically look for examples of "chopping." Clips you've made from longer videos. Feel free to show me any work that demonstrates those skills.
Also this is super important! My team is switching over to DaVinci Resolve. I would love to find someone who already uses DaVinci.
Thank you for reading my post!
