Drafter and Renderer

Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays - 9am to 5pm EST (40 hours per week)
Rate: $5-$6 per hr
Job Description:
A Drafter & Renderer plays a crucial role in the design and visualization process by transforming conceptual ideas and technical specifications into detailed and accurate drawings, plans, and visual representations. The drafter has an understanding of drafting principles, technical expertise, and proficiency in using various design software tools to create detailed and realistic renderings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D drawings, plans, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software, based on provided sketches, specifications, and design guidelines.
- Create realistic and visually appealing renderings, visualizations, and virtual walkthroughs using rendering software.
- Convert rough sketches and conceptual designs into precise technical drawings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Conduct thorough reviews of drafted drawings and renderings to identify discrepancies, errors, and potential design issues.
- Make necessary revisions and adjustments based on feedback from team members and clients.
- Maintain organized records of design iterations, drafts, and final drawings to ensure easy retrieval and reference.
Qualifications:
Relevant experience in Drafting and Rendering or similar Role
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for creating technical drawings.
Strong skills in rendering and visualization software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, etc.).
Knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, terminology, and construction methods.
Attention to detail and precision in creating accurate drawings and renderings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
