Job Description:
We are Katuva, a VA placement agency currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator-Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate, possessing specialized expertise in project estimation and takeoffs, will collaborate with our client who owns a contracting/home remodeling business. This individual will play a pivotal role in upholding their commitment to excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed takeoffs from project drawings.
- Ensure accuracy in estimating materials required for construction projects.
- Utilize Google Sheets for efficient data management and collaboration.
- Create successful project estimates using Coconstruct.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand specific requirements.
- Create scopes of work and estimates that can be provided to customers.
- Maintain organized records of estimates and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets for data management and collaboration.
- Meticulous attention to detail in estimating materials and costs.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks in a virtual work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
How to Apply:
This is a part time requirement at 20 hours of work per week, during Philippine daytime. To provide a little overlap with the client, start time will be around 7am Philippine time.
