Finance Controller | Night Shift (Plus 10k Signing Bonus)

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage and support monthly reconciliations, A/P, A/R, billing, and other operational accounting functions, including but not limited to monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, reconciliation of accounts, and G/L analysis
- Oversee the inventory cost accounting function with a focus on process improvement, including automation and improved profitability
- Refine processes and manage the reporting and reconciliation for key areas including revenue, inventory and COGS, and operating expenses
- Maintain and manage monthly financial reporting and analysis, including cost reporting and variance analysis. Full P&L management. Provide recommendations
- Manage processes for tagging financial entries according to channel and customer to provide visibility into profitability by account
- Work closely with Sales and Operations on profitability metrics
- Manage trade spend accounting, oversee an A/R Deductions contractor
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Data Analytics teams to drive enhanced financial reporting accuracy as well as various cross-functional strategic objectives
- Assist in the bi-annual financial planning process
- Prepare rolling weekly cash flow forecast
- Prepare and file sales tax filings, and support external firms with annual income tax filings
- Ensure Company accounting procedures conform to GAAP
- Manage annual CPA firm financial reviews or audits in the future
- Other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Experience handling significant responsibility with limited support, including leading the monthly close
- Experience with inventory accounting and manufacturing in CPG, preferably Food & Beverage
- Experience with trade deduction management in CPG, preferably Food & Beverage
- Prior experience overseeing the HR Function (payroll, benefits, etc.) would be a plus
