Job Title: Real Estate Research/ Financial Analyst
Work hours: Full-time or 40 hours per week
Timezone: Pacific Standard Time (U.S.)
Initial work schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm PST, Mondays to Fridays
Rate: $4-5 per hour DOE
Role Overview:
As a Real Estate Research Analyst at The Connected Companies, you will be responsible for managing & optimizing our real estate databases, performing market analyses and assisting in underwriting multifamily and self-storage assets. You will play an integral role in providing the information and insights to make informed investment decisions.
Responsibilities:
Database Management:
- Oversee a comprehensive database system of assets, clients, and related information
- Track, upload and maintain database of on/off market properties
- Collect organize owner information; segment leads and qualify owner profiles
- Implement a system for easy retrieval of data and generate KPIs and reports as needed
- Identify opportunities to streamline database processes and improve efficiency
Market Research and Underwriting:
- Research and analyze market trends including but not limited to supply and demand dynamics, rental rates, area demographics and competitive analysis
- Analyze property income, expenses, and cash flow and formulate financial assumptions to assess investment viability.
- Create “back of the envelope” Investment Summaries with limited data (at times)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years experience as Real Estate VA or similar roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of using Landvision, Realnex, Lexisnexis and Notion preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant field preferred
- Experience in real estate underwriting is preferred
- Familiarity with real estate industry terminology and processes
