Senior Auditor

We are looking for a financial auditor that is detail oriented, analytical, and self motivated. The position will start part-time with the potential to go full time.
Benefits include:
-100% remote

-$10- $12 USD (~Philippine Peso)

We are a US CPA firm that specializes in working with small businesses in the construction industry, startups in the construction industry, and other startups that are raising capital under equity crowdfunding.

Having a maturity of the English language is a requirement, and will be tested prior to hiring.
Responsibilities:
- Financial statement audits for US GAAP
- Financial statement reviews for US GAAP
- Prepare audit and review reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to audit management and business management
- Stay up-to-date on changes to GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Assist with the development and implementation of internal control procedures
- Ad hoc projects and analysis
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
-5+ years of experience in auditing financial statements or in general ledger accounting
-Strong understanding of GAAP
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
