Job Description:

As a Content Reviewer and Link Updater, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and credibility of our articles. Your role will involve embedding links, updating content on a weekly basis, and reviewing articles for tone and factual accuracy. You will work closely with writers and editors to ensure our content meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

Embed links and update content on a weekly basis to keep it current and relevant.
Review article headlines/titles and make necessary adjustments based on provided options or your own editorial judgment.
Ensure that article titles align with our editorial guidelines and style.
Review articles for tone, distinguishing between biased content and fact-based reporting. Discard opinion-oriented pieces when necessary.
Cross-check articles with source material to verify accuracy.
Double-check direct quotes and other statements to ensure they are factual and properly attributed.
Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), with experience in embedding links and updating web content.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with writers and editors.
Familiarity with journalistic principles and style guides.
Ability to make editorial decisions regarding article titles and content quality.
Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
