What You’ll Do
· Manage patient calls to the nurse line regarding urgent appointments, medication refills, care instructions and a variety of other concerns
· Accurately document all communications in patient’s EMR
· Communicate with providers regarding appropriate patient care and advise patients of care instructions
· Maintains privacy and confidentiality of all patient protected health information according to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
-Active USRN License
-A detail oriented, multitasker who is passionate about patient care
-Amenable to work in US hour time (graveyard shift) - Central Standard Time
-An eager people-person who enjoys helping others over the phone
-An excellent communicator who is equally well written and well spoken
-Strong commitment to high level customer service.
-Previous experience working with health insurance, or a health care environment is preferred
-One-year practical work experience in a call center or equivalent customer service environment
-A self-motivated problem solver who works well within a team and also on their own
-Technologically savvy and able to learn multiple computer systems easily
-Adaptable, patient, organized and a critical thinker
