Pattern/Print Designer & Artist for women’s fashion brand

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pattern/Print artist to join our Australian fashion brand.
You MUST be able to draw your own motifs and be able to combine colour palettes to create on-trend prints that are suitable for production on fashion garments. You should have a strong understanding of current fashion trends and be able to come up with your own pattern ideas, as well as work off mood boards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pattern/Print Illustrator, preferably within the fashion industry.
Strong understanding of fashion trends, colour theory, and design principles.
Proficiency in digital drawing software such as procreate, Adobe Illustrator or similar tools.
Demonstrated ability to create original and visually appealing prints and patterns.
Excellent eye for detail and the ability to create repeatable patterns suitable for print production.
Portfolio showcasing a range of print designs and patterns.
