Job Title: Accounting Manager

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or similar role.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Business Central Premium.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the budgeting process, including setting timelines, reviewing budgets, and presenting to senior management.
- Develop financial forecasts and monitor budget variances.

3. Cash Management and Treasury Functions:

- Manage company cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
- Oversee investment and debt management policies.

4. Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

- Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional development of the team.

6. Microsoft Business Central Premium Expertise:

- Utilize Microsoft Business Central Premium for various accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Train and support staff in the effective use of the software.
