Solar AutoCAD Civil 3D Draftsperson

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar AutoCAD Civil 3D Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and revising site plans for solar array projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. This role involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to optimize solar site plans for various factors, including wire length and power output.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop initial site plans for solar arrays using AutoCAD Civil 3D based on project requirements.
Produce multiple revisions of site plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Utilize GIS mapping software to enhance the quality and precision of site designs.
Be willing to learn and apply automation techniques, sheet sets, and other tools for efficient site plan generation.
Execute optimization operations on site plans, focusing on enhancing factors like wire length, power output, and overall efficiency.
Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Experience GIS mapping software is highly desirable.
Openness to learn about and apply automation tools and techniques in drafting.
Knowledge or willingness to acquire skills in optimizing site plans for various operational efficiencies.
Previous experience in 3D modeling, preferably with software like SolidWorks, is an asset.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen eye for detail.
