The position consists of training a platform of Artificial Vision. The contractor will watch video footage captured in constructions of all kinds. This platform can recognize complex and diverse information about it, but some mistakes are only fixable by humans. It is a quality assurance job (QA) fixing imagery instead of numbers or data.
All candidates will go through two interviews conducted on video chat that will take approximately 30 minutes each. The first interview will be conducted with Oliant Recruiting. The second interview might or might not happen depending on the result of the screening conducted by Oliant Recruiting.
The second interview is conducted by the Client’s Team Lead. It is possible that the client requests a third interview sometimes. Interviews will mostly always happen in the morning of Central Time (Chicago), Pacific Time (California) or Australia Time.
A good internet connection and a computer are mandatory, accommodation to fulfill this requirement will be discussed accordingly before starting.
Responsibilities
- You will work 40 hours a week distributed in 5 days of 8 hours. Shifts might change in the future, starting at different times.
- There is not a requirement to work weekends or National Holidays, however, we will always ask if some people can work those days which will be paid higher.
- You must communicate in English; candidates must be able to understand and read/write English. Extreme fluency is not required, but the videos and instructions are recorded and written in English. Team leads speak English as well.
- You must have a computer and good internet connection to perform daily duties. Those two conditions must be fulfilled before starting the job.
- This is a fully remote work.
- The formal description of the tasks to perform is “Capture track DQA analysis and adjustments, BIM model alignments, progress tracking DQA analysis and labeling, progress tracking segments upload.”
- The responsibilities are not limited to the description mentioned above, other DQA duties can be added in the future (QA support, new tools developed and so forth)
Onboarding
- There is a training period to learn how to do the job which normally takes 7-21 days.
- NDA agreements must be signed before starting. NDA means Non-Disclosure Agreement and it contains privacy rules and legal implications.
- Further information can be disclosed in private.
Performance
- There are diverse metrics that will be disclosed with the employee during the training period. Employees must comply with the metrics at certain times that will be shared once the employee is working.
- The quality of the work is also measured and evaluated periodically.
- Failure to comply with metrics and quality can result in termination of the employment.
Salaries will be adjusted in the future based on performance.
