Medical Biller (Eligibility Specialist)

We are seeking a loyal Eligibility Specialist to join our team! Eligibility Specialists are responsible for communicating with insurers, employers and/or patients in order to ensure the accuracy of all claim data in an efficient manner that results an expeditious flow of work throughout the Patient Access area.

Responsibilities:

Verify all information is gathered accurately and meets state policies
Obtain release forms and medical records as needed
Verify income, assets, and other financial / legal documents
Review regulations and program requirements with clients
Utilize automated program to determine eligibility of state assistance programs
Troubleshoot and resolve claim records with missing or inadequate information by using analytical thinking skills
Documentation of claim information through the use of multiple systems and online resources with a high level of accuracy
Adheres to all HIPAA/state/federal guidelines for communication regarding patient health information (PHI)
