Position Overview:
As a Wholesale Product Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and underwriting products within our wholesale portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the risk associated with various products, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our wholesale business. This position requires a keen understanding of market trends, risk analysis, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate product proposals and conduct risk assessments to determine eligibility for wholesale partnerships.
Collaborate with product managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for underwriting decisions.
Analyze market trends, competitor products, and industry data to make informed underwriting recommendations.
Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
Collaborate with the finance team to assess financial stability and viability of wholesale product partnerships.
Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on potential risks and opportunities in the wholesale product portfolio.
Stay informed about industry regulations and market changes that may impact underwriting decisions.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to streamline the underwriting process.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or industry certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in underwriting, risk analysis, or a related field, preferably in the e-commerce or wholesale industry.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with Amazon's business model and e-commerce industry trends is advantageous.
