Web Developer

This is a full-time position with 31 annual vacation days (including local public holidays). Wages are paid twice monthly via Wise, and we cover the transfer fees. We have a growing majority Filipino team with a supportive, ambitious, and collaborative culture.
We're looking for a new Web Developer to join us in creating success for our clients. Our clients are top-performing residential real estate agents in Canada, and lead generation is always their goal.
To qualify for this role, you must have strong communication skills and be fluent in written and spoken English. Our ideal candidate would also be available for 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and we offer flexible working hours. Enjoy the freedom to work at your most comfortable time!
In this role, you will be working on the following based on our instructions:
- Write and maintain the system for retrieving data from the property listing API.
- Write and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
- Understand and apply PHP frameworks and patterns.
- WordPress-centred frontend experience (we use Elementor, so there is minimal frontend work).
- Data-heavy frontend and backend experience for displaying property listings.
- Performing quality control on your own and other developers' work.
- Experience with Git version control, database/query optimization and any data-centric custom WordPress development experience would be considered an asset.
