Senior Software Engineer

Essential Duties:
-- Builds new features from our product roadmap using efficient Ruby code and design patterns.
-- Maintains and improves existing code, tests, and features.
-- Works with many third-party software SOAP and REST APIs.
-- Plans and develops efficient UX/UI for new and existing features.
-- Designs, develops, and implements enterprise scale solutions to support the organization’s business strategy and goals.
-- Applies modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities.
-- Collaborates with a team of professionals to set specifications for new applications.
-- Writes high-quality, well documented code to program complete applications on schedule.
-- Designs creative prototypes according to specifications.
-- Perform unit and integration testing before launch
-- Conducts functional and non-functional testing.
-- Performs design and code reviews of developed software.
-- Provides fixes for both development and maintenance change requests.
-- Integrates applications with third-party products and existing IT infrastructure.
-- Supports clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
-- Provides high value consulting services.
-- Maintains and increases technical skills and expertise on new products and versions.
-- Communicates with business analysts to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
-- Reviews requirements and data models and translates into responsible applications and architecture.
-- Tracks and resolves software defects.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is required.
Skills & Experience:
1-3 years of experience working in a software engineer role or similar capacity. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of production Rails (4/5) development
3+ years of front-end development (CSS, HTML5, Javascript, Angular, React)
In-depth knowledge of testing (Rspec, Cucumber)
Experience with RESTful API
Experience with MS framework and connecting to backend SQL database(s)
Experience with Delayed?Jobs, Bootstrap, GitHub, Postgres
Work Hour Details
Full Remote. It is a requirement to work at least during the 4 hours within 8am-12pm U.S. Mountain Standard Time
