Ubuntu Server Admin

We are seeking an Ubuntu Server Administrator with experience in setting up and customizing servers on the Contabo platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the initial server setup, application installation, security configuration, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Setting up and configuring Contabo servers with Ubuntu.
2. Installing and customizing necessary applications.
3. Configuring security measures, including firewalls and user access controls.
4. Monitoring server performance and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
5. Regularly updating system software and performing system maintenance tasks.
6. Ensuring data redundancy and system security through backups and system recovery plans.

**Qualifications:**

1. Extensive experience with Ubuntu server administration.
2. Experience with the Contabo platform is highly desired.
3. Familiarity with system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
4. Understanding of network protocols, server hardware, and setup.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
