Summary of Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Real Estate Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As an Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and contacting owners of manufactured housing communities that we wish to acquire. This position requires significant cold calling and follow-ups. You will work closely with the company's management team to develop and execute a comprehensive outreach strategy aimed at building relationships with property owners and ultimately acquiring new properties.
The ideal candidate is highly fluent in English, hungry for deals, and has a burning desire to succeed. You must appreciate the art, challenge, and salesmanship of cold calling and creating relationships through persistent follow-ups. The candidate must genuinely love talking with people and love picking up the phone.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Heavy emphasis on cold-calling property owners and initiating contact to introduce the company and express interest in acquiring their property.
- Gather information about potential properties, including property characteristics, financial information, and other relevant data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community owners, brokers, and other industry professionals to source potential acquisition opportunities.
- Provide potential sellers with information about the company's investment criteria and the benefits of selling their property to the company.
- Submit potential investment opportunities to the company's management team for evaluation and follow-up as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Highly proficient and fluent in English. Must sound native to the United States over the phone.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a college degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cold calling or a related sales role, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in Real Estate lead generation, skip tracing, SMS, direct mail, mail campaign, HubSpot
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of real estate industry practices, including property valuation and due diligence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong desire to succeed, hungry for deals, enjoys cold-calling, and loves people.
Equipment Requirements:
- Must have a private and quiet workroom to conduct business calls as this job is remote.
- Internet connection with a download speed of at least 10 mbps and an upload speed of at least 1 mbps
- A computer or laptop with the following minimum requirements:
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or more
- Storage: 256 GB SSD or more
- Operating System: Windows 10 or macOS High Sierra (10.13) or later
- Webcam and microphone/headset (for video conferencing)
