Key Responsibilities:

3. VEVO Checks: Conduct Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) checks to ascertain the work entitlement status of current and potential employees. This is critical for ensuring compliance with Australian immigration laws.
4. High Risk Work Licence Verification: Regularly verify the validity of High Risk Work Licences held by employees. This is essential to maintain compliance with safety standards and legal requirements in roles that involve high-risk operations.
5. Performance Plan Development: Collaborate with management to create and implement performance plans. This includes setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and tracking progress to foster employee development and address performance issues.
6. Creation of Position Descriptions and Role Stacks: Draft and update comprehensive position descriptions and role stacks. This involves outlining the duties, responsibilities, necessary skills, and qualifications for each role, ensuring clarity and alignment with organisational needs.
7. Employment and Assignment Letter Drafting: Prepare and issue employment and assignment letters. This includes creating tailored documentation for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employment-related scenarios.
8. Policy Drafting and Documentation: Develop and revise company policies. This task requires staying updated on legal and industry standards to ensure the organisation’s policies remain relevant and compliant.
9. Documenting Policy Breaches: Maintain records of policy breaches, conduct investigations as necessary, and collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions. This is crucial for upholding organisational standards and legal compliance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant experience in human resources, particularly in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with Australian employment law and industry-specific regulations.
