YouTube Video Editor - For Health and Wellness Channel
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative YouTube Video Editor to join our team and play a key role in producing engaging and visually appealing content for our health and wellness channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, with a focus on creating high-quality content that aligns with our channel's theme of natural living and vitality. This is a part-time position, and the Video Editor will be responsible for editing one weekly video with a duration ranging from 5 to 15 minutes.
Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos for our YouTube channel.
Ensure smooth transitions, proper pacing, and overall coherence in the final video.
B-Roll Integration:
- Skillfully incorporate relevant B-roll footage to enhance storytelling and engagement.
Source or create B-roll content that complements the health and wellness theme.
Creative Input:
- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for video concepts and execution.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative editing techniques.
Consistent Branding:
- Maintain a consistent visual style and branding across all videos.
Ensure that the videos align with the overall messaging and tone of the health and wellness channel.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in storytelling, pacing, and creativity.
- Familiarity with health and wellness content, natural living themes.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Understanding of YouTube SEO best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a remote team and Christian Van Camp.
Note:
