English to Spanish Translator for U.S. Immigration Law Firm

About Us: We are a dedicated and growing U.S. immigration law firm seeking an experienced English to Spanish translator to join our team on a part time basis. Our mission is to provide top-tier legal services to individuals from around the globe looking to immigrate to the United States.

Job Description: As our Spanish to English Translator, you will play a key role in ensuring translations are accurate. Most translations will be through documents or reviewing videos for translation accuracy. Occasionally translations will occur over the phone in real time with a native Spanish speaker (10% of the time).

Responsibilities:

-Translate legal documents from English to Spanish and vice versa
-Review videos to ensure the accuracy of Spanish translations
-Occasionally answer phone calls in Spanish (approximately 10% of the job)
-Collaborate with our team to ensure all translations are accurate and culturally sensitive

Qualifications:

-Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
-Proven experience as a translator
-Familiarity with legal and immigration terminology
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong attention to detail
