Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and ensuring the final product aligns with the vision of the project. This role requires a strong command of video editing software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our creative team.

**Responsibilities:**
- Edit raw footage to produce high-quality and visually appealing videos.
- Trim footage segments to specified lengths while maintaining continuity.
- Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and special effects into videos.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos.
- Review and improve video content based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new editing techniques.

**Requirements:**
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous work and creative projects.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software.
- Knowledge of various video formats and codecs for online platforms.
- Understanding of copyright laws and media rights.
