Position: System Administrator Engineer

The System Administrator Engineer is responsible for providing professional and efficient technical assistance with computer systems, networks, hardware, and software.
As a System Administrator Engineer you are responsible for responding to email, chat or phone queries and offering technical support to customers and engineers to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
To be successful in this role you should possess a strong customer service mindset, be well versed in all aspects of computers, servers, networks, maintenance and have excellent communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responding to customer support tickets promptly, providing concierge-level technical support, documenting resolutions to support requests daily, and escalating tickets as needed.
Installing, migrating, and managing Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
Providing remote and on-site support, with issues ranging from simple desktop configuration, network troubleshooting, firewall management, and support/maintenance related to Windows Server and Office365.
Communicating effectively with clients via phone and email, responding to all requests and concerns in a timely fashion. Explaining resolutions, answering questions, and providing professional advice as needed.
Actively collaborating in the development and maintenance of IT Support processes
Identifying infrastructure system needs and providing feedback for development.
Provides network support by researching, analyzing, and resolving associated problems.
Performs technical related tasks for projects including software, equipment and facilities.
Provides training to engineers.
Assists management with IT solutions that ensure target objectives.

Required Technical Skills & Experience:

A minimum 4-5 years’ experience working in technology/IT related fields
Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory & Office 365
Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
Firewall configuration and management
Microsoft Windows 11 and other Modern Desktop Operating Systems
Microsoft Office Suite
LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers
Wireless Network Configuration & Troubleshooting
Printer/Scanner Setup & Configuration

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Associates or bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science/Engineering
Experience with Azure, Office 365 and Cloud Computing
Experience working for an IT consulting or computer services company
CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+) Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Mac OS X troubleshooting & integration into Windows networks
Azure Virtual Desktop
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
