Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced search engine specialist to join our law firm's marketing team as our website manager. The website manager will be responsible for increasing the organic traffic and leads for the website. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of how search engines operate, content strategy, and experience planning and executing marketing campaigns.
Nature and Scope:
The website manager will help us develop and implement content strategies through proper keyword research, planning, and assigning projects to the writing team. This person will be responsible for not only keeping the website up to date, but also ensure brand style and consistency across all pages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages technical SEO performance (with support from Marketing Director)
• Oversees design & development for site
• Manages website health & structure
• Maintains brand style and consistency across site
• Manages content direction & topic strategy
• Develops cohesive campaigns using website content & email
• Manages content production schedule
• Edits content & has final decision for publish
• Curate images and create featured images for posts and pages
• Delivers weekly reports to Marketing director for updates on performance
• Works with Director of Marketing to coordinate the attorney review board for website content
• Responsible for keeping Bluewater map up to date
• Responsible to keeping scholarship page up to date
• Goaled on website traffic and website conversion rate (organic search performance)
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or an equivalent field
• 5+ years of experience in search engine optimization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management experience
• Experience planning and executing marketing events
• Ability to analyze data and use that to make informed decisions about future strategies
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
