QA Automation Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in QA automation with expertise in web browser QA automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent and experience coding automation against ReST APIs.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field experience
A minimum of 5 years as a QA Engineer, with at least 3 years in a full-time automation role
Strong programming skills, experience with Java, C# or equivalent typed programming language
Good knowledge of test framework tools such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar, and experience with SQL and databases
Experience with Continuous integration tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodeBuild / Code Pipelines
Strong knowledge of best practice automation methodologies to ensure timely execution of test suites, maintainable data set setup, and test scripts.
Experience with industry-standard Product and test Management systems (Jira, Confluence, etc)
Demonstrate self-starter with the ability to take direct steps to ensure product quality within the team
Great ability to analyse, estimate and plan work tasks within a team
Strong problem solver and ability to troubleshoot issues in applications and automation environments.
Demonstrated ability to write and maintain test cases with the Ability to write good bug reports
