Position Overview:
As a Remote Part-Time UX Researcher and Designer specializing in Design Sprints at Claire Freshney, you will be pivotal in supporting and facilitating our design sprint processes. Your expertise in user research and design will contribute significantly to creating effective and user-centric solutions within our sprint framework.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis to provide valuable insights for design sprint projects.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to effectively plan, facilitate, and execute design sprints.
Apply user-centred design methodologies to iterate and prototype solutions during sprints rapidly.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts that align with sprint goals and user needs.
Facilitate and moderate sprint activities, including ideation sessions, prototyping, and user testing.
Synthesize and communicate research findings and design solutions to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements:
Proven experience in conducting user research and designing solutions within a design sprint framework.
Proficiency in utilizing various research methods and tools to gather and analyze user insights quickly.
Strong skills in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
Excellent facilitation and collaboration abilities to guide sprint teams through the design process.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a remote environment with cross-functional teams.
A portfolio showcasing previous UX research and design work within design sprints.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint frameworks like Google Design Sprints.
Experience with rapid prototyping and iteration during time-constrained design sprint cycles.
Knowledge of front-end coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and research findings.
