Cybersecurity IT Specialist

As a Cybersecurity IT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization against cyber threats and ensuring the security of all company systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, possess hands-on experience with various tools such as email encryption, and be capable of implementing robust security measures to protect the digital assets.

Responsibilities:

-Implement and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard company systems and data.
-Utilize advanced tools and technologies to monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities.
-Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, with a specific focus on HIPAA compliance for company computers.
-Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
-Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain security measures on all company computers, including ensuring the security of remote employees' computers.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-Proven experience as a Cybersecurity IT Specialist, with a focus on email encryption and overall system security.
-Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
-Proficiency in utilizing cybersecurity tools and technologies.
-Experience with ensuring HIPAA compliance for company computers.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus.
