We are a dynamic cash pay clinic looking for a Medical Administrative Assistant & Patient Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare, ready to handle a variety of tasks in a startup-like environment. We value fast learners and tech-savvy individuals who can navigate modern tools and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative tasks and assist in managing medical billing and subscriptions.
- Coordinate patient communication, ensuring seamless interaction between patients and the doctor.
- Conduct data entry and manage the doctor's calendar with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate with pharmacies for patient information verification.
- Engage with current and potential patients, providing information and support regarding our practice.
Essential Requirements:
- Prior experience in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Comfortable with patient and pharmacist interactions (voice & written).
- Flexible schedule to work 9am-6pm PST. 5 days per week. Not necessarily Monday - Friday USA.
Desirable Skills (Bonus):
- Familiarity with EHR tools like Practice Fusion, patient communication software like Spruce Health, and scheduling tools like Acuity Scheduling.
- Understanding of the American healthcare model.
- Proficiency & preference for the modern digital tools like Slack and MailChimp as opposed to corporate tools like Salesforce.
- Quick learning ability and adeptness in adapting to new technologies.
