**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Quilt Pattern Designer to join our team. As a Quilt Pattern Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing unique and visually appealing quilt patterns that inspire and engage our customers. You will be responsible for creating original quilt designs, developing patterns, and ensuring they are user-friendly for both experienced and novice quilters.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Design Quilt Patterns:** Create innovative and aesthetically pleasing quilt patterns that cater to a variety of quilting styles, from traditional to modern.

2. **Pattern Development:** Translate your design concepts into detailed, accurate, and easy-to-follow quilt patterns that include precise measurements, step-by-step instructions, and diagrams.

3. **Quality Control:** Ensure the accuracy and clarity of your quilt patterns by thoroughly testing and revising them as needed.

4. **Collaboration:** Collaborate with our sales manager to promote and market your quilt patterns through various channels.

5. **Continuous Learning:** Stay current with quilting techniques, tools, and technologies to enhance your design capabilities.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Quilt Pattern Designer or a related field.
- Proficiency in quilting techniques, sewing, and fabric selection.
- Graphic design skills and proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW).- Can be discussed in interview.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for color and aesthetics.
- Ability to create clear and comprehensive written instructions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Passion for sewing / quilting and a deep understanding of the quilting community and culture.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Formal education in textile design, fashion design, or a related field.
- Previous experience selling quilt patterns online or through retail outlets.
- Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property issues related to quilt patterns.
