Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Virtual Rent Collection Specialist and play a pivotal role in ensuring
the smooth and effective collection of rental payments from tenants. As a Rent Collection
Specialist, you will manage rent payments, maintain a meticulous rent collection ledger, and
facilitate open communication with tenants while upholding the highest standards of lease
agreement compliance.

Responsibilities:
? Track and monitor tenant rent payments, ensuring timely collection and accuracy.
? Communicate with tenants regarding rent due dates, late fees, and payment-related
inquiries.
? Issue formal rent notices when necessary and handle tenant communication
professionally.
? Maintain a meticulous rent collection ledger, recording all payment transactions and
interactions.
? Ensure tenants' adherence to lease agreement terms, documenting compliance actions
in the ledger.
? Collaborate with property management to provide updates on rent payment status and
address concerns.
? Reconcile rent payments with property management systems and maintain ledger
accuracy.
? Process rent payments, update electronic payment systems, and confirm receipts in the
ledger.
? Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes, recording resolutions in
the ledger.
? Generate regular reports on rent payment trends and provide insights to property
management.

Qualifications:
? MUST have experience using APPFOLIO or YARDI VOYAGER
? Experience in rent collection or related roles.
? Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
? Proficiency in property management software and remote communication tools.
? Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

? Consistent internet and a suitable workspace.
? Must have experience working the graveyard shift. This is 9AM-5PM Pacific Standard
Time
