Security Officer – Remote Part Time

Security Officer - Part-Time Remote We need a part-time security officer with security certifications in our IT company and experience with ISO 27001. We are already certified and in need of a designated security officer to maintain and ensure the fulfillment of security policy and procedure for our small team.

Qualifications:
1. Security certification from an accredited institution.
2. Third-party security training.
3. 3 years experience working in a security role for an IT company.
4. Third-party training HIPAA compliance training
5. Ability to train staff in security policy and procedure via video
6. Ability to work 8 hours per week sometime between 8-11:30 AM EST time zone (exact times negotiable).

Duties:
1. Ensure compliance with security policy and procedures.
2. Train staff in security policy and procedures.
3. Update and/or create documentation needed for ISO 27001 compliance when needed.
4. Keep security documentation up-to-date.
5. Answer staff security questions when needed.
6. Review and approve/deny security-related requests when applicable, per security procedures.
7. Perform duties requested by management.
