Australian Mortgage Loan Processor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mortgage Loan Processor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing mortgage loan applications from initial application to final approval. The Mortgage Loan Processor will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other members to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and review all necessary documentation from borrowers, including income, assets, credit reports, and employment information.
Review loan applications to ensure all required information is accurate and complete.
Prepare and submit loan packages to underwriting for communication with borrowers, loan officers, and other members throughout the loan process to provide updates and request additional information as needed.
Order appraisals, title reports, and other necessary documents to complete the loan file.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and complete loan files and documentation.
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
Knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan origination software.
