Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Scientist

The Role:
We are growing fast and looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to create and manage a system to reconcile transactions to ensure our records are accurate and indentify inconsistencies. You will also be responsible for building internal dashboards and reports transforming data into insights that drive business value.

Responsibilities:
-Build and maintain a reconciliation system to ensure the company's records are accurate and match the activity of our users
-Monitor the output from the reconciliation system and take necessary action
-Create documentation for any new processes that are implemented as part of the role
-Dashboarding and reporting

Requirements:
-Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets including expertise in formulas, macros, and pivot tables
-Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, Tableau) and data processing languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
-Programming skills (Preferred): While not mandatory, proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is highly advantageous. Your role will involve working with data from third party systems that we will retrieve through APIs
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Strong writing and documentation skills
